A view from the Vee Valley Set in the rolling wooded countryside at the foot of the beautiful Knockmealdown mountain's, Glenribbeen lodge offers traditional and alternative menu's. Wherever possible all vegetables are grown organically usually on the farm behind the lodge. It is a modern house with great views from all windows and Glenribbeen Lodge has a non-smoking policy.

It is also a tradional music school with opportunities to learn/develop Irish music skills or simply join in the sessions.

 

200m from the lodge is the Blackwater river, famous for its salmon and trout fishing and also coarse fishing. The rivers Bride, Finisk, Owenashad and Glenmore famous for their trout fishing are all Els, Peter and Grainne your Hostswithin 10 mins drive. Shore fishing and deep-sea angling boats can be chartered out of nearby Dungarvan.

Music sessions, canoeing, horse riding, pony trekking, cycling are all readily at hand and the countryside abounds in splendid woodland and country walks, while the Waterford coastline is renowned for its golden sandy beaches and secluded coves. Nearby is the famous Vee, a gap in the Knockmealdowns overlooking Co. Tipperary.

Golfers can choose from three excellent 18 hole courses within 15 minutes. Three minutes away is the 9 hole Lismore course overlooked by the fairytale Lismore Castle.

Nearby is Dungarvan with many excellent restaurants, the heritage town of Lismore, Ardmore and Waterford with its world renowned crystal.
